Philatelist, postal historian, exhibition judge and adviser with more than 30 years of active involvement in Danish and international philately.
Experience, network and judgement
Morten Pieper has worked seriously with philately and postal history since the early 1990s.
He has held a number of trusted positions in Danish philately, including chairman, board member, treasurer and editor in central philatelic societies. He has also served as an exhibition judge in postal history in Denmark and Germany.
His professional background includes high-level exhibiting, lectures, study work and a substantial production of articles on stamps, covers and postal history.
Judging experience
Exhibition judge in postal history in Denmark from 2005 to 2021 and member of the German judging college from 2024.
Specialist communication
Author of approximately 35 philatelic articles and lecturer on Danish postal history, pre-philately and related subjects.
Today
Morten Pieper works as an independent consultant and Danish representative of POSTILJONEN AB in Malmö.
The role is to inspect collections in Denmark and advise consignors, families and heirs on how stamps may best be sold. The starting point is a calm, factual and confidential dialogue about the material and its possibilities.
